Taking your basic obedience skills to the next level. Including mat training, walk away, drop it, focus work, leave it, heeling and adding distance and distractions to your obedience cues. Must have completed Manners 1 course for entrance (or by instructor permission).
In this two-part workshop, we will focus on organic methods to help gardeners and homesteaders establish and maintain healthy fruit trees for home fruit production.
In Part 2, we will discuss organic methods of insect and disease management in order to produce quality fruit, as well as how to best manage fruit trees as they get older and larger. This is a live online course.

C. J. Walke has been working for the Maine Organic Farmers & Gardeners Association since 2006 and for the past decade, he has focused on providing technical services to farmers and teaching practical skills related to organic tree fruit cultivation.
Learning to play the guitar is easy, and with practice you can become good! Each individual will be able maximize their own abilities whether they are brand new to the instrument or already have some experience. Reading and writing notes, basic harmony, chord progressions, and how play a song from start to finish will be introduced. Please bring a guitar and any material or songs you might have to class.
A $10.00 for materials fee will be collected at the first class. Please pay the instructor directly. (NOTE: This fee is not included in the class fee.)

Join MDI artist and art teacher Carol Shutt, as she shares her artistic process from an art-making trip to Portugal. She will share her imagery and poetry from an art book she created while there, and describe her process in a way that teaches others how to create a travel art journal for themselves.
Focused primarily on growing one’s creative art practice and personal expression, this artist talk will also weave in elements of Portugal's inspirational art, music, literature, history and culture. This is a live online class.
