Born in England, JoAnne loves sharing her beloved recipes and suggestions on how to host and enjoy classic afternoon tea. We will make the most tender fruit and cream scones, homemade lemon curd, and the perfect pot of tea in this live, online class.
A list of ingredients will be sent to you via email once you register so that you can prepare tea along with JoAnne if you wish.

JoAnne Wood was born in England, grew up in San Francisco, and comes from a long line of fine British bakers. After graduation from the California Culinary Academy, she worked as a pastry chef in the San Francisco Bay area. Since moving to Maine in 2000, she has worked as a professional pastry chef, owned a dessert catering company and, for more than 15 years, taught cooking classes. She has a passion for cooking and baking, and for teaching people of all ages.
